OUR HISTORY

1851 Juan Emigdio Marrodán creates a smithy dedicated to the repair and maintenance of machinery.

1882 An iron foundry is incorporated into the company. This year also begins the manufacture of machines for the pressing of the grape and the olive.

1952 First Industrial Hydraulic Presses for the Wood and Rubber sectors, manufactured and designed by Marzola.

1960 First exports made outside the European Community.

1997 The company is transferred to the current facilities of Navarrete (La Rioja, Spain).

2004 Marzola receives the Export Award from the Government of La Rioja.

2009 Marzola becomes part of Biele Group, a specialist in the automation of industrial processes.

2015 Inauguration of the new facilities of Marzola. That same year, the group’s first subsidiary outside Europe, Biele USA, was founded in Atlanta, Georgia.

2016 Biele CHINA is founded, thus fulfilling the objective of continuing to grow as an international group committed to development, already present in more than 50 countries around the world.

2017 Biele Robotics & Artificial Vision is created, with the aim of providing robotic and artificial vision solutions to all divisions of the group.
